香港理工大学中文及双语学系项目研究员/博士后研究员招聘

二、岗位职责

受聘者将协助项目负责人开展研究项目--"在幼儿园推广 C-for-Chinese@JC，培养文化共融教育 "。受聘者須：

(a) 为项目的各项干预方案设计和开发评估工具；

(b) 收集、分析和管理项目数据；

(c) 编写报告和文件，供内部和外部使用；

(d) 向有关各方宣传研究成果和项目成果；以及

(e) 履行项目负责人或其代表指派的其他职责。

受聘者有时需要在周末或正常工作时间以外工作以及在校园外工作。

三、申请资格

申请项目研究员职位的人士，须持有中国语言文学／中国语言学／中文作为第二语言教学或相关学科的博士学位，并在教育界有至少五年的博士后工作经验，包括担任一线教师、教材编写人员或研究人员。

申请博士后研究员职位的人士，应拥有上述学科的博士学位，且在申请时拥有不超过五年的博士后工作经验。

对于这两个职位，申请人还应：

(a) 具有管理教育活动和开展教育研究的丰富经验；以及

(b) 热心教学、爱护儿童、有组织、有耐性和细心。

申请者如具备中文作为第二语言的教学、教育科技及媒体、课程及教学、多媒体中文学习材料的开发等方面的知识和经验，将获优先考虑。

Project Fellow / Postdoctoral Fellow

[Appointment period: twelve months initially, with possibility of further appointment]

Duties 

The appointee will assist the project leader in the research project - “Scaling up C-for-Chinese@JC in kindergarten sector to cultivate culturally responsive education”. He/She will be required to: 

(a)   design and develop evaluation tools for the various intervention programmes of the project;

(b)   collect, analyse and manage project data;

(c)   compile reports and papers for internal and external consumption;

(d)   disseminate research results and project outcomes to various stakeholders; and

(e) perform other duties as assigned by the project leader or his/her delegates.

The appointee will sometimes be required to work during the weekend or outside normal work hours as well as outside campus.

Qualifications

Applicants for theProject Fellow post should have a doctoral degree in Chinese Language and Literature/Chinese Linguistics/Teaching Chinese as a Second Language or relevant discipline, with at least five years’ postdoctoral experience in the education field, either as front-line teacher, learning material developer, or as research personnel.

Applicants for thePostdoctoral Fellow post should have a doctoral degree in the said disciplines and must have no more than five years of post-qualification experience at the time of application.

For both posts, applicants should also:

(a)   have substantial experience in managing educational activities and in conducting education research; and

(b)   be passionate about teaching, children-friendly, organised, patient and detail-minded.

Preference will be given to those who have knowledge and experience in teaching Chinese as a second language/educational technology and media/curriculum and instruction/development of multimedia Chinese language learning materials.
